Booking and payment
A non-refundable deposit fee of 50% of the selected photoshoot package is required at booking to secure your session date and time. The remaining balance is due by the date of the session.
Session is not officially booked until the deposit fee is received.
Payments can be made via cashapp, venmo or cash.
travel and milage
Travel within 25 miles of Burnsville/Spruce Pine, NC is included in the session price.
A flat milage fee of $75 will be applied for travel beyond 25 miles round trip.
For long distance sessions (over 100 miles) a custom quote may apply, which would be discussed during booking
Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel your session, your deposit in non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled session if notified at least 48 hours in advance.
No shows or cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will result in loss of deposit ad a new deposit will be required to rebook.
*In case of bad weather, illness or emergencies, sessions may be rescheduled at no extra cost.
Editing and image delivery
Final images will be delivered via email/usb drive within 2 weeks (or less) from session date.
Edits include light retouching (exposure, color, skin smoothing if needed).
Image rights
Thru the Lens Photography retains the copyright to all images.
Clients reserve the right to print and post all photos.
Images may not be altered, filtered, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
I reserve the right to use images for portfolio, website, and social media promotion unless you request otherwise in writing.
Client responsibility
Please arrive camera-ready. That includes clothing choices, hair/makeup, and any props or outfits you want to use.
Please arrive about 10 minutes early to discuss posing, ideas, etc.
Children should be well rested and fed to ensure the shoot goes smoothly. (Feel free to bring a snack and drink for your children to the shoot! Just be mindful of getting snacks on clothes!)
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times during the session.
Weather policy (outdoor sessions)
In the event of inclement weather (rain, extreme wind, etc), I will reschedule the session at no additional charge.
Light overcast or clouds are not considered bad weather, and sessions will proceed unless conditions are unsafe.
